100 years of London fashion in 100 seconds.
This year we moved into a brand new apartment building, which has been my first time ever living somewhere new. I normally like buildings with old bones, creaky floorboards and strange sounds. I’m used to patching up holes where doorknobs have broken through drywall, that kind of thing. Needless to say, new takes getting used to.
I think I teeter in the odd territory between part-hoarder, part-minimalist. I like clutter, but mostly when it’s in contained spaces… Here’s what my countless estate sales, garage sales, flea markets, antique malls, craigslist searches and trips to Ikea have turned up.

Love this design from Orla Keily.
A lot of people don’t realize that each seller on etsy has individualized policies for their shop. Below are my shop policies, which can also be viewed on the policies page.
1. Payment
I only accept payment through Paypal because it is quicker and hassle-free. If you are purchasing an item that is more than $50 and would rather pay with another method, contact me and we can work it out. However, I will only ship out an item once payment clears.
2. Shipping
I try to ship orders out within one business day of purchase.
I mostly use new packaging, though sometimes (especially with oddly-shaped packages) I use recycled packaging. If you prefer new packaging, please let me know.
Most items ship first-class or priority mail. If you need an item shipped quickly, please contact me before purchase so I can adjust shipping accordingly.
All domestic orders come with delivery confirmation. I am not responsible for lost packages, so if you would like insurance contact me and I will bill you via paypal for the extra cost.
3. Returns
I don’t accept returns. Because of this policy, I encourage shoppers to contact me with any questions they have before purchasing an item. I try to be as honest and forthcoming as I can in product descriptions.
All items are vintage and should be expected to show some wear, unless stated otherwise. If an item falls apart within months after purchase, I am not responsible. A common thing that happens is oftentimes with vintage shoes, the heel caps will crack or fall off after a bit of wear — this is just because of its age, and can easily and inexpensively be fixed at a shoe repair shop. Also, vintage leather has to be treated with care, as time tends to dry it out and make it more susceptible to cracking.
4. Reserves
I will hold an item for you for 24 hours, but I do ask that you only request this if you know for certain that you intend on purchasing an item. I also reserve the right to refuse reserve request.
I have a little thing for dresses with sheer overlay — they have a soft, feminine feel I like. Here are a couple, both from the same lovely vintage shop .
